Mounting and distributing battery power on rigs, stands, or gimbal rings
  • Read each output label before connecting: 8 V, 12 V, 14.8 V D-Tap, and 5 V USB are not interchangeable.
  • Clamp to a rigid 15-30 mm section and position the battery so its weight improves balance rather than twisting the mount.
  • Add the draw of all devices, check D-Tap polarity, and power down before changing cables.
  • Confirm the V-lock and crab clamp are fully engaged, then add strain relief so cable pulls cannot rotate the plate.
