Overview
The Redrock Micro microFollowFocus v2 is a gear-driven, single-sided follow focus system designed for 15mm rod support, offering precise manual lens control with minimal backlash. Featuring an adjustable hard stop system, reversible drive gear, and standard 0.8 MOD pitch compatibility, it integrates with most cinema and photo lenses using geared rings. The included microWhips provide flexible, remote operation via standard whip ports, allowing ACs to pull focus from off-axis positions or in constrained rigs such as shoulder builds, gimbals, or tight studio setups. The unit mounts via a solid rod clamp with adjustable positioning for proper gear mesh, and supports industry-standard accessories including marking disks and speed cranks, enabling repeatable, accurate focus pulls in narrative, commercial, and run-and-gun environments.
