Overview
The NEEWER CM-NA-2 C-Stand Boompole Holder holds a boom pole securely on a standard C-stand, allowing for fixed or hands-free positioning of microphones on set. The NEEWER CM-NA-2 features an adjustable clamp that accommodates most boom pole diameters, with a locking mechanism to keep the pole stable during takes. Constructed from metal for durability, it mounts directly onto a C-stand grip head and can be angled as needed for overhead or off-axis placement. Useful for static interviews, locked-off shots, or situations where an operator isn’t available to hold the boom.

- Best suited for
- Interviews and locked-off dialogue setups
- Mount the holder on the stand side that causes the load to tighten, not loosen, the grip-head knuckle.
- Sandbag the tallest stand leg and keep the boom over that leg so the centre of gravity stays inside the footprint.
- Add a safety restraint around the pole and never rely on clamp friction above cast or crew.
- Leave enough cable slack for final aiming, then listen for cable contact and stand vibration before rolling.
