Overview
The Mole Richardson Sky-Hi Junior Roller Stand is a heavy-duty mobile stand designed for junior fixtures, with a telescoping column reaching up to 8 feet and a load capacity of 50 lbs. Its spring-balanced riser ensures smooth height adjustment, and dual-locking casters allow it to roll safely on set while preventing unwanted movement. Integrated friction locks keep lights steady in high-action shooting environments. Ideal for use with HMI fixtures.
Junior receiver support
Built for heavier fixtures with junior pins
Rolling base
Repositions a built light without lifting the full load
Telescoping column
Raises large fixtures to useful working height

Secures the stand after a controlled move

- Load and unload the Sky-Hi with the riser down, wheels locked, and at least two crew members for a heavy head.
- Use level, hard flooring; cable thresholds, slopes, and soft ground can stop a caster or tip the stand.
- Unlock only for a rehearsed move, push from the stand base rather than the lamphead, and use a spotter for cables.
- Lock every caster and riser before the take, then add appropriate ballast without obstructing the wheel brakes.
