Primary use
Small-to-medium fixtures, softboxes, and reflectors
  • Open the Manfrotto Art 001 legs fully and orient one leg beneath the fixture or modifier centre of gravity.
  • Add a sandbag before raising the load; large softboxes can create dangerous leverage even when the lamp is light.
  • Raise the thick lower sections first, keep the final riser overlap generous, and tighten collars without over-torquing them.
  • Use a secondary safety overhead, lower the stand before moving it, and never drag it by the mounted fixture.
