- Place the Ezybalance where the subject is, angled toward the camera and illuminated by the same light as the face or object.
- Fill enough of the frame for custom white balance and keep coloured bounce, wardrobe, or flags from contaminating the card.
- Use the grey side for reflected exposure only after confirming the camera or meter workflow expects an 18% target.
- Keep both surfaces clean and untouched; fingerprints and ageing stains can introduce a colour or exposure bias.
