Overview
The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K is one of the first digital film cameras released by Blackmagic Design. Its 2.5K Fairchild sensor offers 13 stops of dynamic range and records lossless CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes, and Avid DNxHD.
Kastle Rentals testing found notably strong low-light performance in certain conditions. Its deliberately simple design rewards careful setup with a distinctive, film-like image.
