Overview
The B+W 77mm Circular Polarizer reduces polarized reflections and increases scene contrast by selectively attenuating reflected light from non-metallic surfaces. It is effective for controlling glare on glass, water, and coated surfaces, while increasing color saturation and sky separation in exterior work. The filter features a rotating front element for precise polarization alignment and uses multi-resistant coating (MRC) to minimize flare, maintain transmission, and improve durability. As a circular polarizer, it is fully compatible with modern autofocus and metering systems. Expect approximately 1.5–2 stops of light loss depending on rotation.
