- Use only on a correctly rated, grounded circuit with the matched ballast and head cable; inspect every connection before power-up.
- Keep the lens, UV protection, and safety screen installed, and maintain generous clearance from people and combustibles.
- Select the ballast frequency for the camera frame rate and shutter, then roll a flicker test before principal photography.
- Allow the head and lamp to cool before handling or packing, and never look directly into an operating HMI arc.
