- Confirm the destination supplies the plug-in power and connector wiring expected by the A.Lav before the shoot.
- Place the capsule near the sternum, create cable strain relief, and test the actual costume for rustle.
- Keep the cable away from radio transmitters and power leads, and avoid sharp bends at the inline electronics.
- Record a short test into the final camera or recorder; a visible meter does not guarantee correct connector compatibility.
